Get the Most Out of Your Stay With These Hotel Hacks

We reveal the hidden services on offer at The Star and how you can get the most out of your stay.

Make the most of your stay at one of The Star properties by getting the low-down on the (not so) secret services that will take your stay to the next level. Whether it’s suggesting activities, booking exclusive experiences or getting you the best table at a restaurant the concierge team will become your best friends.

Book in some spa time

Make sure securing a booking at Azure Spa is top of your priorities list after checking in. Arrive a minimum of 30 mins before your appointment to use the wet facilities while you wait. Then you can cosy up in a spa robe with your welcome tea in hand – ready for your treatment.

The (not so) hidden hacks

Thinking about splashing out on a penthouse suite? Perhaps the added bonus of a private chef – if you book at The Darling – will tip you over the edge into locking in the penthouse. The full kitchen will allow you to entertain guests – with multiple comfortable chairs available for reclining after dinner. The Star Grand penthouse offers a butler service and ensuite bathroom with a sauna, spa bath and harbour views (visible from the tub).

Love a morning jog to get your blood pumping? The Darling offers up complimentary water, towels and running maps each morning between 5am and 9am. So get on your running shoes and make the most of it!

The Treasury Brisbane has a same day and overnight laundry service, so you don’t need to scout around for a dry cleaner – or wash your socks in the basin. They also offer a pressing service for clothes and limousine service – to arrive in style wherever you’re going.

Don’t leave until you’ve tried…

Table For 2 at The Grand is room service but not as you know it. Choose from one of the many signature restaurants at The Star (including Kyomi, Garden Kitchen and Bar and Mei Wei Dumplings) to be delivered to your room for a private dining experience – take it up a notch with a paired cocktail.

A private viewing at Louis Vuitton. Don’t be afraid to ask your concierge about the services that they provide to all guests. Whether it’s a private visit to a designer store or help with a special event or proposal.

Table 52 at Nineteen at The Star Grand. Chief Concierge, Christian Espino, recommends booking this table for the best view in the house – looking out across the city. Order the Kiwami Wagu 9+ marble score steak – Christian’s favourite dish on the menu.
