The nickname of 20 year-old hip-hop artist Hinenui-Terangi Tairua, A.Girl is a Ticketmaster 2020 “One To Watch” and the winner of 2019’s Triple J Listen Out festival competition (Sydney). Her single ‘Play’ may have been written with her mum and sister, but the sound is anything but domestic – it’s been described as “a curvy, comely hit designed for the dancefloor”.

Jess Kent has music in her veins. Encouraged by her blues rock guitarist dad, she was playing guitar, writing songs, and busking on the streets with her big brother before she even started high school. Eventually heading to Sydney to forge a music career, her debut single Get Down made the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2015, kicking off a career that has included touring with Coldplay, Hayley Kiyoko and Troye Sivan. This year she launched a new EP, Parking Karma, featuring more of her sweet indie electro-pop sounds.
